In short

Gymdeed is a coach, not a doctor: nothing here is medical advice, and counts are estimates from the camera. Check with a doctor before you start if you have a condition, an injury or a pregnancy. If something hurts, or you feel dizzy or short of breath, stop.

1. Not a medical device, not medical advice. Gymdeed is a fitness app. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor any disease or condition, and nothing it says — spoken, written or generated by AI — is medical advice.

2. Check with a doctor first. Talk to a doctor before you start a new training routine, especially if you have a heart, lung, joint or other condition, an injury, high blood pressure, a pregnancy or a recent birth, or if you haven't trained in a long time.

3. Stop when your body says stop. Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath or feel unwell. Pushing through pain is never the goal, whatever the coach's intensity.

4. The injury card avoids; it doesn't treat. Telling Gymdeed about a knee, lower back, shoulder or wrist problem makes it leave out some movements. It does not assess the problem and it is not rehabilitation.

5. How the counting works, and its limits. Gymdeed estimates the position of your body's joints in each camera frame on your phone and counts reps and judges form from how those points move. It is an estimate, not a measurement. Poor light, loose clothing, other people in the frame, an unusual camera angle, distance or an older phone can make it miss or add a rep, or misjudge form. Use the "wrong count?" button when it's wrong; don't change how you move to please the counter.

6. Your space is your responsibility. Clear the area, use a stable, non-slip floor, keep the phone where it can't fall on you, and mind children, pets, furniture and neighbours. Use equipment, such as dumbbells, only if you can handle it safely.
